- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut hole pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fill each donut hole cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Store leftover donut holes in an airtight container.
- For added sweetness, roll the donut holes in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
