A delicious and creamy chicken alfredo pasta recipe that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • This dish is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half and half for the heavy cream.
