Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
