This decadent Oreo mousse cake is a dreamy dessert perfect for any chocolate lover!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter to form the crust.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, and cocoa powder until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the mousse over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Decorate with chocolate shavings before serving.
