- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings, for garnish
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter to form the crust.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the mousse over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings before serving.
